Stayed here for 4 nights and was happy with the accommodations. My wife and I booked a semi-double room and we were put in a corner room on the 7th floor. As with most hotels in Tokyo our room was very small, but we managed since we went out sightseeing most of the day so the hotel was basically for sleeping. The most appealing aspect of this hotel is that it is only a 10 minute walk from the JR Shinjuku Station, which is a major hub for all the Tokyo JR lines and the subway/metro lines

This was my wife and my first visit to Japan. After lots of review surfing, we settled on The Rose Garden. Finding it the first night was tricky, but once you know where you are, it is only about a 10 min walk to the JR station. Great location - lots of restaurants and shops within an easy walk. Not smack in the middle of all the hustle bustle of Shinjuku, but just close enough. Great staff -friendly and they really try hard to help you. Rooms are on the petite side, but an overall great value. I'll be back.
